The stool is a result of researching different shapes, material and techniques. The changing directions of the grains create a sense of dynamism that emphasizes the different shapes.
Bending techniques were applied to the back; many different thin layers of walnut were attached on each other with the help of a mold, creating a small radius circle. The variation of black, red and brown in the walnut wood create a sense of familiarity and warmth.
The stool, appears to be monumental at first but due its size, the piece humbly presents itself to their user and the space in which it is located.
